Load the XLS, XLSX or CSV statement you downloaded from net banking. Columns are detected automatically, ledgers are suggested, and you get a Tally XML file to import.

Statement not read correctly? Tell us which bank and we’ll add support for its format.
Import the ledger masters file first if any of these ledgers don’t exist in your company yet, then import the vouchers file.
Newer TallyPrime releases can import from Excel, but only after you map every column to Tally fields and lay the file out the way Tally expects. This converter does that work for you: it reads the bank’s own layout, assigns a ledger and voucher type to each entry, and writes an XML file Tally imports directly.
You can still download the cleaned data as Excel or CSV if you’d rather keep a spreadsheet copy.
A date column, plus either separate withdrawal/debit and deposit/credit columns or one amount column with a Dr/Cr marker. A narration and balance column are used when present. Header names are matched automatically, so “Txn Date”, “Particulars” or “Withdrawal Amt.” all work.
That’s fine. The converter looks for the header row in the first 40 rows and ignores everything above it.
Yes. CSV exports from net banking are read the same way as Excel files.
Change “Dates in statement” in Step 1 to match your file (day first or month first) and load the file again.
